The Return of the Idiotic Heroes

If I am the Earth and my universe is expanding. If star light's faints as we go farther from each other. Like friends moving and fading in a constant motion. In how much speed should I keep and live for me to reach you?

I had lunch with Ayu two Mondays ago. We ate at Sakae Sushi, a sushi restaurant with moving sushi plates on a conveyor belt like the one we see in animes. We were talking about you again. Of how we were still not able to move on. Of why, in our lives, is it difficult for us to close your chapter.

If what we shared is like a book. Then closing it will be difficult when you have brought the cover with you, when you left.

I'm having my rest today. I am supposed to hangout with some friends. But they insisted that I should rest after knowing that I am not feeling well. Not that really not-well. I'm just having a congested nasal passage and mucus secretions, heavy throat and a feverish feeling.

I greeted my friends on Facebook and Twitter.

I was playing Mario Kart Wii the whole mid-morning.  How did you spent you Christmas?

Since I got my new pair of eyeglasses yesterday. I was able to see more clearly. The streets signs are now visible to my eyes. I can now tell if I am able to ride the right bus route.

Though, the sky today is now longer what it was years ago when I still had my normal vision, I can now see the stars precisely. I wonder what happened to the other stars. Is the earth that really far from them that their light can no longer reach us? Are stars similar to friends that fades as my universe expands constantly?

Aside from the morning star. I can also see two stars directly shinning in front of me. I feel that I can always reach them . I'm liking their warmth.

Today, I was able to watch a movie in 3d. My first time wearing 3d glasses inside a movie house. First of more first in the future. All thanks to my two immediate friends.

I promise, I'll try to break walls and reach you.

I went out last night to meet with my college friends. It was a get together party to celebrate one of our friend's birthday. I arrived first and too early at the location and decided to wait for the others while sitting at the bench under the moon.

A few hours later, someone arrived, my college best friend. He sat close to me and started asking about the other confirmed guests who will be arriving that night. We had an exchange of little talks and plenty of silence in between. I was trying to run flashbacks on my mind about our days being together, but nothing good came aside from the feeling of awkwardness. There wasn't even a feeling of nostalgia.

We had a fun party even though some of our group members weren't present. I always believe that as people getsolder and more mature, there are things that they must give up along the way, things in their past and that includes friends.

Another friend agreed to drop us on the main road where we can easily access public transportation. As we reach our destination. My college best friend and I stepped down the car, walked on the different direction. He faded into my eyesight like as I was to him a long time ago.

I ended up alone in the road in the middle of the mid-morning. When I looked up behind, he's there... The moon, it felt like it was always watching my back.

I used to receive a last minute greeting from a close friend in the previous years. I have waited until the clock hit twelve but I never receive a word. I am partly sad.

I just had my special day ended officially. I would like to thank all of those who remembered. Especially to those who shared it with me. :)

Sometimes friends have a way of fading into the background every once and a while. And often this just happens because of their preoccupation with their personal lives and changes.

I told you I can explain your situation. But "sometimes" and "often" weren't very helpful to me especially if I am already on the stage of "acceptance".

It has been four days since I had that short talk with an old friend. I have his number but I don't know why he is not responding to any of my messages. I have listed different reasons to answer my own queries. But then I realized that it isn't me that should explain.

I have always believe that everything happens for a reason. Even though there are things that happens for no reason at all.

Reasons are just there to bring you acceptance :)

I was able to talk to an old friend. A very short talk. We are suppose to continue after his game but it never happened. He left his number but he doesn't reply to my short messages. Well at least I know a brief of what he was doing these past years.

I hope I will be hearing again from you soon. A very short talk will do. As long as I hear it directly from you. That you're doing good.

I am actually awake for more than 24 hours already since I woke up last night for my work shift. Since I begged off on the overnight plan last week. I decided to be goody-goody and agreed on Dennis and Jabey's plan for today. I left the office early and went to Marikina to meet up with Jabey. We bought chicken from Andok's for lunch before heading to Dennis' place.

My initial plan was to sleep but it didn't materialized. I ended up listening to Jabey's elementary-violin playing. He played Jolly Old St. Nick, a very nice song. I hope someday he will be able to play play it smoothly.

After lunch we head to SM Megamall. Bought Dennis's new phone. Took a break on Starbucks. Ordered 3 different kinds of Frapps. I have 3 stickers for the yearly planner promo. I only need 14 more to avail the planner. But I'm not a fan of Starbucks. We strolled around Toy Kingdon. I bought 2 comic books (Go Beerkada GN and Life in progress). Strolled some more then had dinner at Max's.

I loved Max's Chicken, I hated breaded friend chicken. Whats your favorite chicken resto?

I bid them goodbye and rode the train. And when I got home, something good happened after I opened my Facebook account.

We had this typhoon named Santi at the start of the weekend. It passed our area rapidly and then, the following morning we had a clear sky.

Though I missed having overnights at Dennis' place. I decided not to join them on their cemetery hopping. I am not comfortable submerging into the mudded streets. It turns out that I did a good decision because the last cemetery they have visited was still covered with mud due to typhoon Ondoy last month.

The next day. I travelled to their town for we are going to have a post birthday celebration for Rizza. There I met their other friends and we get along well easily. Randy, financed all the foods. Jill/Gill, brought a puppy as her gift to Rizza and we call him Wawa.

We watched a couple of dvds and skipped majority of other discs which we fail to grasp the story. We finished watching Invitation Only, a slasher film which we enjoyed as we shout, scream and over react intentionally due do some out of this world ways of killing and amputations.

I enjoyed watching Dennis and Jabey's cat-dog fights in which I occassionally join. :D

From late afternoon until we bid Rizza goodbye we did karaoke. We also walked down along a dark 45 degree angle sloped road. A very long walk that I do not want to repeat again in few weeks. My legs hurts, really.

By the way, how was your weekend? Did you went out scaring people and trick-or-treating?

Over all, it was a great experience. You know, the last time I had this kind of friends was...

I can't really compare. Its totally different... But what I feel right now was the same as it was like 7 years ago, on Charlotte's debut party, when I was new to Wildone's group... Nostalgic :)
